Deep Diver
The maximum depth you can dive to with Scuba on a recreational dive (without a Technical Diving certification) is 40 metres. The Open Water Diver course qualifies you to dive to 18 metres. But there could be a beautiful reef or a wreck deeper than 18 metres. This specialty certification gives you the knowledge and skills to plan and safely dive to depths upto 40 metres. If you are Advanced Open Water certified, you are qualified to dive upto 30 metres. This course not is not merely to increase your depth limit but also a pre-requisite to learn technical diving if you find it of interest. Here is the reason - The maximum bottom time you can have at 40 metres on air is just 9 minutes. With EANx28 (if you are Nitrox certified), you can stay at that depth for 12 minutes which is still a very short dive. You can spend a longer time at this depth if you are a Tec diver. To learn Tec diving, you need to be a Deep Diver.
This course can be conducted in Netrani too. Ask for pricing.
